Consultant Japanese Chef – Taichi Masuda
Masuda San has a long spanning career in the culinary world commencing his apprenticeship in Japan’s busy kitchens. Having gained years of valuable experience, he was appointed as Head Chef of KAIO Group of Companies in Japan which operated a network of over 85 Sushi Bars across the country. He re-located to Sri Lanka to open the Sushi Bar Samurai chain and continues to guide and aid the team in our culinary journey.
Executive Sous Chef – Mohan Adhikari
The first employee of the Sushi Bar Samurai and a vital part of the culinary team. Chef Mohan completed his training in the culinary arts in Japan having worked in leading restaurants across Tokyo. He returned to Sri Lanka to continue his experience in Japanese cuisine and joined the Sushi Bar at its inception. Chef Mohan leads the Negombo branch of the Sushi Bar.
Restaurant Manager – Anuruddha Priyadarshana
Anuruddha joined the Sushi Bar at its inception in 2014 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Prior to this, he completed his training in Japan, mastering the Japanese language, etiquette and food culture.
